Prêt-a-llod – Create ready-to-use multilingual data

The Prêt-à-LLOD project concerns the development of linguistic data in the next generation internet through the paradigm of linked open data. In particular, linguistic data is valuable for ensuring that this next generation internet is accessible to all people in their native languages, and the Prêt-à-LLOD project aims to contribute to this by providing better access to resources especially for minority and under-resourced languages.

Prêt-à-LLOD aims to deliver 5 tools that will ensure that AI can be effectively applied to natural language processing:

  • a discovery tool that supports users in finding datasets for their needs;
  • a conversion tool reducing the effort to use data;
  • a manager that ensures that data is used lawfully; a linking tool supporting the integration and networking of language data;
  • and a workflow tool to enable NLP pipelines to be scaled.

These tools will support the sustainability of the next generation internet by ensuring that data is widely and permanently available.
